It’s time to start getting serious about Georgia Jewel 100.  Saturday I want out over lunch and ran 12 miles with about 2000ft of climb.  My intent is to learn how to deal with and prevent heat exhaustion.  I’m also working on all the other things I must have a handle on prior to the race.

Shoes:

  • HOKA One One

The run went as expected.  I carried two 20oz bottles and refilled them both on top of the mountain at the lodge.
